My full
name is Silke Göbel, my birthday oh god.....is December 5th 1961, that makes
me 41 years at the mo!!! I was born and live in a town called Wuppertal in Germany
and I work as a doctors assistant for over 20 years with a private internal specialist.
I have been a BA Fans since the very beginning of the early 80's!!!
But to
be honest, I first heard about him when he gave some of his best songs away!!!
I used to be a huge fan of the 70's band "The Bay City Rollers" and
ended up being a fan of one of their ex-members Ian Mitchell who formed another
Band back home in Ireland called Rosetta Stone..........and here the whole story
starts........Bryan wrote Straight from the heart which he gave to Rosetta Stone
( I know just aswell to Bonnie Tylor) and RS also got Remember and Hidin' from
love from him which they did pretty good!!!
I loved those songs and then finally
got around the recorded versions of the original singer........and boy..........that
was it.......I was hooked on Mr. Adams!!! Saw him on telly over here in Germany
in Rocknacht and Rockpalast and all that stuff and my first live gig was in Dortmund
November 1987!!!
Unfortunately also my last live gig until last November!!!!
I never lost touch, bought all his albums and later on his CDs but I never got
around seing him live again until last year!!
Since I got hold on to
the internet I'm back into Baddie Land and I enjoy it very much!!!! Thanks to
Bryan loving Germany so much I had the chance to go to see him very often since
and I just had my 10th concert two weeks ago in Bremen!!!!
I'm still
on Cloud # 9 and I hope he will be back soon with his new album of course!!!
My fave songs are as follows: Please forgive me, Lets make a night to remember,
Straight from the heart, The best of me ( where I got hold on to Bryan and just
got hugged by him in Berlin last November...........gosh.....what a night to remember!!!),
I'll always be right there, I think about you ( Unplugged) , I'm ready (Unplugged)
and so on and on and on.......too many to mention!!!!
I met Bryan briefly
twice after his shows in Hannover March 15th 2003 and in Dortmund May 9th 2003
and I must say HE IS A VERY CHARMING MAN!!!!!
My other interest are
surfing around the world wide web, making friends all over the world, animals,
listening to music, travelling and first of all.....goes the love to my two fantastic
dogs Teddy and Scamper
