On A Day Like Today
The 23rd September 1998 saw this single hit radio around the
world. After the quick succession of the 18 and Unplugged
albums BA was straight into the studio again and was out with
new material within a matter of months. This lead single (and
title track to the album) was popular among fans and had a
great video accompanying it.

As far as releases go the UK gets the pick of the
bunch again with 2 CD's to choose from including a digipak version.
Typically Mexico releases a cool promo CD as they do with every
release.
The video for 'On A Day Like Today',
was shot on the 15th and 16th of August 1998 and directed by Joseph
Kahn. It explains the obscure CD cover of the album with an elephant
walking across the street in NYC. It goes like this:
*Pick a number between one and nine
*Then multiply the number by nine
*Add the two digit number together
to make one number
*Subtract five
*Find the corresponding letter in
the alphabet to the number (a=1, b=2 etc.)
*Think of a country that starts with
that letter
*Take the second letter in the country's
name and think of an animal
*Think of a colour
If you did it correctly, you thought
of a grey elephant in Denmark
