27/06/03 - SPRINGHEAD PUB, HULL Review

Well i got a phone call from steve the author of 18tilidie.co.uk and was asked
"Fancy going to see the Bryan Adams experience Tomorrow in Hull??"
Yeah why not heard good stuff about them, heard this guy sounds and looks like
Bryan so i thought id give it a whirl. Well we arrived
at the pub at about 8 pm and immediatly recognised Stuart the lead singer, if
ya wanna see the resemblance, pics will be on 18tilidie.co.uk in an hour or so,
They set up and started sound checking with Heaven, then Somebody, after hearing
somebody we were a little bit sceptical as it just didn't seem to sound right,
but hey thats wot sound checks are for.
The boys came on stage at about 9:20
and kicked off with House Arrest. WOW These guys are good, 2nd only to BA.
Kids Wanna Rock, Heat of the Night, touch the hand, songs i would love to hear
from Bry!!!! He pulled a guy up for summer of 69, handed over his guitar etc.
If anyone has BA's moves sussed its Stuart, from the bar , this guy looks, moves
and sounds like BA !
A great band and even better guys, while they were setting
up , we gave a quick hello,told Stuart we are friends of Shelley, Stuart then
took us to meet the rest of the band, who are all great lads.

If there playing a town near you i reccomend you go see , its
as near to the real thing as ya can get.
Anyone in Barcelona next week for
the beach concert with Bryan May will find The Bryan Adams Experience on the support.
And playing up in Scarborough I believe in the middle of August.
