15/05/82 - PROMO: A&A RECORDS, EATON PLACE, WINNIPEG, MB Before Adams opened for Loverboy in 1982, he did an autograph signing at A&A Records in Eaton Place. I asked him if at the show he would do Let Me Take You Dancing, a Saints Roller Rink fave. I didn't think he would, but I thought I might hear an interesting story from him about that oddball disco song with his speeded-up, chipmunk-sounding vocals. (It came out as a single before his first album did and has never been on any album.) Instead, he just said, "No." Oh, OK. Man of few words, I guess. | |||
