09/05/01 - GULF HOTEL, MANAM Bryan Adams took Bahrain by storm by bringing his ”The Best of Me” concert to the Gulf Hotel. Over 3000 fans crowded into the poolside gardens to see him perform some of his biggest hits to an appreciative bunch of fans of all ages! The concert was supported by Paul Fraser and the
Radio Bahrain Roadshow, what a night, it was fantastic, I am sure
it will be remembered and talked about for a long, long time to
come! There is no way I can convey the atmosphere on the night of the Bryan Adams concert to you. He stunned us all with a concert that flowed from one massive hit to another. "The Summer of ’69" had us all singing and dancing, "Have you ever really loved a woman" had us crooning along, as did all his others. It was one of the most flawless and best delivered concerts I have ever attended and we saw THE BEST OF HIM that night!
One lucky girl from the audience Janna, was plucked from the crowd to sing on stage with Bryan, she was certainly not shy and in fact had the makings of being a star herself one day! Well done Janna!
