03/03/02 - BIRMINGHAM NEC

Stanley:
We heard that some people had been there since 8 this morning when
we got there but having been to the NEC on previous occasions we
knew that if we went in via the restaurants we could get in quicker
without as much queuing. My technique worked and I was front row
again but this time on Keiths side. 
The show was great and was a better atmosphere than last night,
and BA was having a laugh with the crowd a lot more and seemed a
lot more animated! The lass he brought up on stage was a nurse and
BA fell to the floor when she told him that! She was really good
as well. 
Tonight 'Into The Fire' was brought back into the setlist and the
B-stage remained :) I also caught a drumstick Mickey threw my way
after him and Keith walked off after 'The Best Of Me'!
After the show had finished we went around the back for some autographs
but BA didn't show because he apparently wasn't feeling top notch
(at least when we left anyway and that was from a reliable source!).
I did before that however get Mickey's to autograph my program and
also shortly after Keith as well! I also managed to get a photo
with Keith as well that somebody else took for me because my camera
didn't have a flash (thanx Samantha!)...should turn out pretty good
:)
I eventually got back to Sheffield just before 3am (20 minutes ago!)
and we passed the EST trucks carrying the majority of BA's stage
already on it's way up to Newcastle for tommorrow!
Tonight's gig was good...very good :)
