22/02/03 - PLAZA DE TOROS, ALICANTE Review

The gig lasted about 2 hours, and there were about 10.000 people
like in BCN....
Again, Joao Pedro Pais was the support act or whatever,
when he ended, lights went out, people got very excited and went crazy when they
saw a shadow..they thought the shadow was bryan, but was keith lol.... so keith
gets ready, bryan comes on stage and the fun begins...
The funny moment
was durin cuts like a knife, bryan looked at the crowd and said somethin like
thats all you can do? cant you sing and clap hands any louder?
so the crowd
went crazy and singin out loud..bryan looked very pleased...lol..
After
cuts like a knife, he looked for a girl to sing WYG, so the girl comes on stage,
she was called, Annabel, and he asks her " what do you do for living or somethin
like that, she said "ticheir" and bryan looked at her and said, "Dj"
?! so she told him, "no, teacher..." she was very nervous and everythin
Then he offered her the lyrics, and before she started...er....yellin, shoutin
and many more like that, anythin and everythin less singin lol, she shouted "este
tio esta buenisimo", that means, this guy is such a hottie, quite a hunk,
etc....
People really need to learn english before attendin a gig...oh
jesus....lol....
Well, the girl had fun and as always, she touched bryan
all over, there was the typical ass-rubin, you know, that stuff lol...
After that, bryan asked the girl wether she was alone or she was with friends,
you know to give them some signed tshirts, bryan and this girl went backstage....(...i
dont wanna know what happened....lol) and then, some mins later bryan came on
stage again.....very happy..lol
in the end, he took some pics to the crowd,
he took some pics to himself and he said he wanted them to his mum ....
Then, tbom, walkin through the crowd, etc, people thought the gig had finished....
but some mins later they came on stage again, they played HYERLAW and bryan said
: "Adios Alicuante" lol, that means, bye alicante...
Its very
funny to hear bryan speakin spanish, so sweet!!
People didnt want bryan
to leave, so they kept on sayin " bryan!! "bryan!! .... and bryan came
again on stage, alone this time, he took the acoustic and played "the way
you make me feel".... and "straight from the heart"....
Bryan last words were: "Esta sera una noche para recordar", that means,
this will be a nite to remember...
Some curious facts i have been told
about bryan comin to alicante..
They said that he and the guys wanted
a driver that could speak in english... that bryan spent about 1. 500 euros in
wine and cheese for the party they had after the gig, for the crew and the band
and everythin...
and a friend who was stayin in the same hotel, was told
but another girl who was the receptionist or somethin like that lol, that a week
before the guys arrived there was a guy checkin everythin, and tellin that bryan
would travel in a privat jet, that they wouldnt talk for the press and everythin....
Well, this is has nothin to do with the review, but you know they say
that bryan is very unaccesible, thats very hard to get to meet him or see him...
and i have always thought that he wasnt like that, i mean, when readin reviews
and everythin sounds like hes very down-to-earth and thats easy to get him to
sign autograph and take some pics, what do you think? Setlist:
