Canadian pop rock star Bryan Adams came, sang and conquered the hearts of his hundreds of young fans who responded to his electrifying music by rocking and singing along with him.

Adams, visiting the happening city for the second time, though two-and-a-half hours behind schedule set the stage on fire with chartbusters Everything I doand 18 till I die, Summer of 69, Only love and It cuts like a knife.

His number Summer of 69 evoked an overwhelming response from the 30 thousand odd crowd who joined the popular rock star in singing and jiving.

The other singles that almost sent the young foot-tapping crowd into a frenzy were Everything I do and It cuts like a knife.

The 44 year-old singer, clad in his trade mark T shirt and jeans, struck a chord with the audience when he called a student Meghana, to join him on stage to sing along with him, the number "I am in love".

His number from his album MTV Unplugged with spanish guitar as accompaniment was a real treat for the audience who were forced to sit on top of scaffolds to watch their favourite rock star, due to lack of seating arrangements.

Interspersed were some soft singles including I am ready to love you and Only love.
