22/06/04 - HESSENTAG, HEPPENHEIM Review

alex and i arrived the venue and met up with other baddies....well,
i actually waited for susi, tiz and aleks norway....we also met katharina, petra
and many others...so we had quite some fun....( remembering one of us falling
asleep in the sun ;) while waiting -the weather was mostly good, every now and
then it rained...but we were prepared....lol...(my yellow rain coat attracted
all sorts of bees........he he he.)
what really got us concerned, was that
they had opened up another way in, with 2 or 3 entrances, further down the venue...when
already about 20 or more ppls were in line of the 4 entrances we were waiting
at for some time... with our womenly intuition, sure enough they opened up the
other spot first....damn.....
alex and i managed under miz tizs and norway
alekses side front row under ba's mic ( boy were we fast and yes, yes, yes. i
lost my virginity.....), while poor susi, who got a bad start, ended up 3rd row,
behind me....:((
we were in, but now - we had to wait for another 2 hrs before
the support started...
we solved this problem, with trying to get the icemans
attention...talking silly with the security...doing stupid pictures with our digi
cams....( thx god for those, the digis i mean....who would have ever done that,
with their reg cameras....now u can look and erase....i just luv it....)

support was the murphy brothers....the best was the drummer. very good expressional
face...
not my type of music, but ok....the ppls which did the gigs before,
rolled their eyes .... after 6 songs it finally ended.....
equipment change....watching
the crew do their thing......

started
with there ll never be another tonite - the couple balloons we had, ended up right
at the ditch or maybe i should say trench.lol.....following 18 til i die,
house
arrest, night to remember ;) , its only luv....( i dont remember where the song
exactly was...but keith didnt get introduced as mrs tina turner this time...:()
kidz wanna rock, back to u, summer of 69 ;) , eididify, cuts like a knife....lots
of na nas ;) , wyg....geeeeeeeeee...she was so nervous....i think her name was
kathrin or karin from kaiserslautern... she wants to be a singer and did a very
cool cool job...at least i think...
somewhere inbetween bryan was welcoming
the ppls, which lived in a high raised building looking right at the stage...those
ppls were waving back ........big grin..
bryan got keith to give her a feel
good hug and told us, that he would get them too, when he feels real nervous before
a gig...keith just came up and hugged him...so bryan went like ..."hm hey
not in public"...also after the song, ppls were asking for more, so there
was a very very little "zugabe" only by bryan and his guitar and surely
us singing along...."baby when u r gone......"

the only thing.....us having made 3 ( yeah
only three, cause we paper banked up??? the printer....) pointing fingers....like
those.... 
but
i guess, the other stuff we used in previous gigs was much better appreciated
by bryan.....
cloud #9 - lots of waving hands..., run to u, best of me - without
bryan cuming down stage and meeting ppls....well, i should say very high stage,
but there was a security guy waiting the whole time, to put up the ladder......
we
got an arcustic version of straight from the heart and depend on me....
no
spanish guitar...and a rather short gig, but i still enjoyed it very much and
hope - with the new cd - cuming out hopefully this year september...we get a new
gig, with lots of new songs, to think about new stuff to entertain the boys....
the request for "when the night comes" wasnt granted either...but
i got a feeling, that maybe the uk baddies might get this nice treatment .....;)
i
do not have any gig pics, since with all the ppls i was - i knew there will be
lots of cool pictures out....
hope u enjoyed the tiny review and maybe i should
add, that there were ppls out, which were a bit dissappointed...i mean, sure i
had better gigs, but i always just have a good time....and i know, i enjoyed it
very very much and cant wait to see the guys again.....
