30/10/04 - WEMBLEY ARENA, LONDON

Review by Steven Stanley
...we got up from Helen's hotel to queue at stupid o'clock (5am was it?)... worth it though because we were first in the queue! We took our sleeping bags and slept in the doorway until some more queuers woke us up! We had a good laugh queuing and we passed the time quite quickly again (mostly by sleeping hehe!) and also going for food etc! Before the doors opened I met Jason, Dave and Ross who all come here so it was nice to see them.

We were at the front of the queue again and this time the doors were opened more fairly I think although there were still people inside when we got there so who knows. We got front row anyway again slightly to Keith's side in the same spot as the night before. Tina Turner was in town as well doing 'The National Lottery' on BBC TV only a mile or 2 away slightly prior to the show... we thought she might make a surprise appearance for 'It's Only Love'... but she didn't! Nevermind!

The show was more or less the same as the night before's but with 'She's Only Happy When She's Dancin' in the encores. I managed to get Bryan to take a picture of myself and Andrea on the front row... what a picture! It's the one at the top of this review... how excited does Andrea look! Hehe great picture :) Once again the acoustic set at the end was mind blowing.

After the gig myself, Andrea and Stevie went for a curry again straight away and thought we might catch Bryan afterwards. We got a take away again and upon walking back to the venue we heard Bryan was outside signing for fans. We ran all the way to the venue and when we were nearly there Stevie tripped over and dropped his and Andrea's curry (£20 worth!) all over the road! It was so funny! As soon as we got to the gate anyway we saw Bryan drive off so it was all in vain... gutted were they! Anyway I ate my curry on the floor like a dog to everybody's amusement (they all wished they had curry really!). Then we went around the front of the arena and tried to pinch some posters... but they were safely locked away which was a shame. So, before we drove to Brighton we took funny pictures which you can laugh at below... enjoy! Then off to Brighton we went!... seemed like Wembley had been our home for ages!

Adrian takes a fancy to Bryan... we always knew he loved him!
Adrian lends Bryan a fag!

Bryan slams out '69 right infront of us. Awesome.

Bryan on acoustic

We all meet Keith after the show and Stevie's infamous 'Curry In A Hurry' stunt ;)

Stevie writing out his "Do I Get Three Wishes If... ...I Rub You The Right Way" banner for Jill from Speedway!

Me eating the surviving curry!... don't worry I shared it with those unlucky enough the drop their purchases! ;)
