22/11/04 - PROMO: 'BBC
BREAKFAST NEWS' TV SHOW, LONDON Bryan
pops into the BBC Breakfast News studio to talk about his new album 'Room Service',
the new single 'Flying' and other things like the success of 'Everything I Do'. ********** Review
by BBC: Bryan Adams - Room Service To call Bryan Adams hugely successful
would be an understatement. He's sold 60 million albums worldwide and his
songs have reached number one in 30 countries. This
morning, the groover from Vancouver dropped in to the Breakfast studio, to tell
us about his latest single. It comes from his album
Room Service - recorded, not in some cosy studio, but in hotel rooms across the
world, while Adams has been on tour. "I was
trying to figure out a way to occupy my time while I was on tour," he explained.
"A lot of time gets wasted, between arriving
in town and when you play. "So my engineer and
I had a studio packed away in two suitcases." Bryan
freely admits that he was astonished by the sucess of Everything I do (I do it
for you) "I thought the melody sounded international
- but it took only 45 minutes to write. "I thought
it's a sweet little song - nothing else - and then, bang." |
