05/12/04 - FOREST NATIONAL, BRUSSELS

Review by Clara:
If I well remember on September 21 2004, Bryan played a sold out concert in Antwerpen. Due to that success, they decided to add one extra gig in Belgium. More exactly in Brussels. So I did not think twice, and I bought the tickets immediately. The song list was basically from the album Room Service, which I personally think is amazing. I love the song ‘Room Service’. The second time he sang that song (acoustic version) he changed the lyrics and said: “You could even be in Brussels!!!” The band was BA, Keith, Mickey and the other two. They were all wearing the black t-shirt. The stage was very simply but effective, with the red curtain. One thing I would remark: the impressive duet “It's Only Love” with a unique combination between the lyrics of BA, the guitar played by Keith Scott and the voice of Beverly Night. No words are needed. Speaking about words, when he took the 2 girls for the magnificent song “When You Are Gone”, he said in Spanish “Más o menos”. Back in 1998, for a radio show during the Spanish promo of “On A Day Like Today” he revealed his knowledge of the Spanish language. It seems that he can understand quite well the language and he speaks a little. This concert in Brussels was the last one of the year 2004 so at the end of the performance Bryan said to the crowd “Happy Christmas and Happy New Year. See you in 2005”.
