30/03/05 - OLYMPIAHALLE, MUNICH

Review by Susii:
Hey! I'm back from Munich and I want to tell you about the show! Have fun!

God, it was so wet standing outside the hall and waiting. It was raining all day long... We arrived at 11 and had to realize that we were way to early, there was nobody (N O B O D Y) apart from two others... The first people arrived at about 1 but most arrived at 6:30 when the doors were opened. A bit strange! Maybe that was because of the rain... Dunno. It's also funny how shocked some people can react when somebody dares to have fun while waiting! I've met some nice people and we tried to have a good time although it was raining and we were soaked! You should have seen the looks some people threw at us... Exactly those people of whom I know that they follow Bryan wherever he goes... maybe they were too bored after dunno how many shows in a row, who knows!

When we were let in we rushed down the stairs to reach the stage as quickly as possible, I nearly broke my neck while I tried to take three steps at once... Silly me, but it was worth it, I "conquered" first row, on the left side.
Countermine started at 8. I am not sure what to think about them, they played 6 songs of which I liked 3 pretty much but the others were...erm...let's say I nearly fell asleep... The lead singer looked a bit drunk though...

Bryan and the guys came on stage at 9... Oh yeah!!!!
There were two girls standing next to me who had a banner with the words "Please play One Night Love Affair" on it and he looked at it and said that he would do it!!! WOW! That song was so great!!!! I liked it better than summer of '69 (the half-acoustic version...)
When they played Everything I Do the whole hall was singing along... Looked really good with the lighters and stuff!

Bryan picked Stephanie from Munich to sing When You're Gone with him! It was funny! When he told her "Don't be nervous Steffi, there's only me, and you... And 10000 people around" she nearly faded... Easy to understand. But she was a real lucky girl!
Nowhere fast... WOW it sounded so much better than on the CD! I didn't like it that much before, but now I really love it!

When Bryan came down the stage for The Best Of Me I could grab both his hands... Was hard to let him go!
He took the step next to my friend and she could see that he wore dark-grey Calvin Klein pants... Nice view she had

The four acoustic songs in the end were good! It's nice to see Bryan standing there with just his guitar...

After the show I bought a girlie shirt with a pink room service guitar on it. The first shirt I bought after a concert that really fits!
It was a fantastic night in Munich, I wish I could go right back again...
