Review by Ana:
The day began at 6:15am when i had to wake up to meet a friend and take a bus to Madrid. I better not tell everything happened until we arrived to Alcázar. ok, so.. at 4pm me and 3 more friend arrived to the queue where another friend of us was already waiting for us with our numbers to be written on our hands, so we were part of the first 20's.

By the way, we are members of a spanish forum. The weather was dry and hot and everybody was running aways from the sun, searching for a good shadow. At 6:30pm (or so), everybody got up and went to the fences (?) to be ready when the doors were to be opened. They finally were at 8:15pm. Although the security staff told us not to run.... hahaha!! who cares what they say?! So here i was (well, we were), first row in front of Norm's mic. The weather was a bit nicer even though the sun kept shinning.
The venue was reduced to one part of four (1/4 if you know what i mean), so it wasn't quite big. It ws the expected type of venue since Bryan is not a "big star" here. At first, there were only three rows and neither of them was as long as the venue was, it was kinda sad but we thought it might be possible since Alcázar de San Juan is not a usual place for a concert, but it's a good place for those fans living in the south part of Spain.

The support act (don't know their name) appeared on stage at 9:15pm. They were great, at least, their lead guitarist was quite good. Bit a bit, the venue got full, so by the time Bryan should be playing, was already full. Press said we were 4000 at the audience.

It was 10:30pm and Bryan and the guys had not come to the stage yet. The night was great, not too hot and with breeze from time to time. What can i say about the crowd? The most amazing crowd i've ever been part of. -Everybody was screaming, whistling... as it was time for Bryan to come and he didn't appear, we started to make a wave (??), to scream Bryan's name, etc. At 10:50pm, finally the lights went down and there they were! The show began with "So far so good" and then it came "Somebody" followed by "Open road". It was so amazing that we started to shout: "Ese Bryan, ese Bryan, eh! eh!" (which means something like "Bravo"). Bryan stood looking at the crowd with a freaked out look on his face, it was clear he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He tried to understand what we were saying but he couldn't, even though he made some attempts. But i'm sure he knew what we were saying was nice. lol

During a solo in "18 til i die" (i think it was), Keith stood in front of me and i held up a banner i made which said: "Happy belated birthday, Keith' SGOD". He saw it, smiled at me and put his hand on his heart in order to "send" me it. It was soo lovely. They played "Low life", it has always been my fave b-side and boy, after this, is the best b-side!!!! What a great song live! Then, Keith appeared with a spanish guitar and "HYERLAW" was played. After, Bryan chose a girl for the WYG song. The girl (as you can see in the pictures) was wearing jeans a the upper part of a bikini (that's clever, Bryan).

One of the moments i was expecting it was to listen for the first time "Hearts on fire" live (i mean, being me part of the concert), so when the moment came, i was delighted. The performance was amazing, you could see they were enjoying the atmosphere (i'm sure they didn't expect such a welcome).

With "TBOM", Bryan went down to the crowd and i almost lose my lungs squashed (?) against the fences. I couldn't touch him, but he was so near that is hard to believe. The band went away and Bryan appeared to play the acoustic set, begun with "Heaven", followed by "SFTH" and "All for love".He said that he had never been on that side of Spain but he really enjoed it, he never expected such a great show. And that was all, everything has ended so quickly. It was around 00:50 and EVERYBODY was thirsty! Actually, there was a moment when Bryan drunk water and there were people saying: "please, share it".

For me, it was one of the most amazing gigs i've even been. The band was giving the best of themselves , the crowd was crazy... everything was perfect BUT "Kids wanna rock" wasn't played. It's hard to understand a Bryan's concert without that song. Oh! And "SOHWSD" wasn't played either.
We though in rying to catch Bryan when he go out of the venue in the car but we had to chose between go out and buy some bottles of water or Bryan..... the first option won.

With an amazing memory and without being able to stop talking about the gig, me and two friends went to the hotel and take a rest to be ready for the next day, BENIDORM.
