Review by Danish media (translated by Karina):
Bryan Adams was in connection with the audience

For almost two hours Tuesday night, the Canadian rock star took the audience in Messecenter Herning on an unforgettable trip. With one hit after another the Canadian artist rocked the 6000 people in the round arena.

The time is a quarter to nine and and the arena is filled with an audience with great expectations and who only wait for him to go on stage. And finally it happens. What few seconds before looked like a country dance with the lights on, changes to a growling forum with tension and excitement.

On the stage in front of a little more than 6000 people appear 5 men all wearing black t-shirts. In the front is Bryan Adams, and the screams from the arena almost forces you to wear ear plugs.

He gets right to it and start an already promising concert with the title song from his album "Roomservice", which is not one of the most known songs.

A concert for all
With short and precise shifts between the songs, the super star stays focused on the important thing, the music. No long and unnecessary pauses in the music and very much aware of why the 6000 people are here in Herning to watch and listen to him. Hit after hit roars out the huge speakers and in between you can't even hear it because of the audience singing louder.

It's not too crowded here, but still enough people to create an intense and intimate atmosphere which all through the concert gives a close connection between the musicians and the audience. And it seems like these songs have been chosen because they are the favorites of the audience and not the musicians. Adams knows how to give people what they are coming for and under no circumstances disappoints the larger part of the people in the round arena.

"Summer of '69" proves how he and the band have made the correct choice when prioritizing his material. The audience goes crazy. With much noise and an ocean of clapping hands the band is brought all the way through the song. Everyone stands - even the audience having seating tickets gets up while singing along.

Improvised duet
A little more than halfway through the concert Bryan Adams stops after the song "Cuts Like a Knife". He controls the crowd in front of the stage with just his index finger and is in complete control of the situation. The cheering crowd begs for more hits from the star. But he needs help from one person among the audience - a person with enthusiasm as he puts it himself. People don't quite believe it, but it appears that he main character of the night wants to sing a duet with one from the audience. And it doesn't take long before he finds what he's looking for.

- What's your name, he asks the young girl, who has been brought on stage.

- Katrine from Aalborg, she answers.

Together they sing "When You're Gone", and without any sign of nervousness Katrine from Aalborg handles the tune in front of the wild crowd, while she's also capable of entering into the spirit of this improvised super stunt from Bryan Adams, who assists and shows her off.

The intensity holds
Without any major breaks and interruptions, Bryan Adams and his band succeed in giving the audience a concert experience of the good this night where the pace stays high at all time. And it doesn't happen due to a spectacular stage show or colorful costumes.

All it took was heart, professionalism and forever living classical rock songs from a previous decade.
