27/10/06 - PLAZA DE TOROS NUEVO PROGRESO, GUADALAJARA

Review by Mario:
Well it was a nice night for a concert there were 5000 people in the bull ring. The boys came out about 9:35 pm opening with room serviice as they have been doing for the last couple of months, the highlight of the show was its only love with keith scott. Speechless he was fucking awesome lol!

As always and of course hearts on fire rocking as usual but for mexican fans specially in Guadalajara it was all about that song... ya know The song... as bryan hasnt put so much attention to this part of the world since 1992 he is known by Everything i do and a bit summer of 69. But when it was time for everything i do the place came down and all the phones on the air it was great.

So far so good came back to the set since spain which i went too to both spanish shows 3 months ago he also played heve you ever really loved a woman full band as he didnt the night before at monterrey. He replaced it at the acoustic set with when you love someone like the sacndinavian tour he didnt played low life as in monterrey which i think its a great song live but it was nice to hear so far so good instead.

Apart from that all the rest was the same, run to you was amazing one of the best ive ever heard and also somebody. The crowd was really turned on all the show they were singing along all the night and bryan was surprised everybody knew the songs. He said he promise to make it a night to remember and he did.

Review by The Mural (Mexican Press):
Bryan´s emotivity captivates
The canadian brings almost two hours of show without ostentations.

There wasn´t big screens, fireworks or laser efects. There were just Bryan Adams four musicians and their instruments. Enough to steal the heart of the tapatios (How people from guadalajara are called).

The plaza de toros nuevo progreso was at its 70 percent of it´s capacity there were 6000 people, but the canadian didnt seemed to matter, who began his performance at 21:33. All covered in jeans and t-shirts, the five characters took their place on stage and the show began.

They called room service track that names their 2004 production, and the people responded luckwarmly, but Adams puted the night back on track when the chords of somebody where cheered by the audience. At the pitch people rather stood up, little by little the mood started growing up and the people joined to the lyrics hit after hit. 18 til i die was recieved with joy, at the end of the song Bryan said hello formaly to the tapatios.

Señores, Señoritas, said in spanish then in english, my name is Bryan, it´s my first time in Guadalajara, everybody told me this is the party place in Mexico is that true? To which the crowd catagorically yelled back Yes!!

Let´s make a night to remember was his invitation and the next song of the evening that was supported by the backup vocals he had already earned with his salutes. They followed hits like Cant stop this thing we started and back to you which convinced the ones that where stil sitting to jump out of their seats.

With the next 3 songs Bryan Adams threw the crowd into his pocket. Summer of 69 got more than one to dance and sing, Everything i do the tenth song of the night was ovationated and a very well fed chorus then Cuts like a knife retook the rock sense.

Just before the 12th song Adams asked for someone to come onstage to help him sing, there wasnt Pam Anderson or Mel C, the chosen one was Rosa Maria Guzman a 20 year old marketting student for duet with the canadian.

After Run to You at 23:11 hrs. Adams asked applauses for his band and said goodbye then they left the stage. The crowd asked for more! more! and two minutes later he came back on his own and his acoustic guitar and sang please forgive me and 3 more songs.
