27/02/07 - SUPERDOMO ORFEO, CORDOBA

Review by Diego:
Cordoba's setlist was similar to the setlist he played in Buenos Aires the following day.It was almost the same setlist but in Cordoba they opened with “ Room service” and they didn’t play “The best of me”. But for me and my friends-Erica, Virginia, Debs and Marlene- the show began much earlier…

(Above) Diego and friends with Bryan at the hotel!

We found out in which hotel they were staying and we went there in hopes to see them. As soon as we got in the lobby, we saw Mickey and Norm sitting at a table, having coffee. We had a picture taken with them and after that we decided to go for a snack so we sat at another table nearby. We waited there like an hour until keith showed up- more pictures and autographs…and then the greatest of all moments: Bryan showed up!!! More pictures and autographs! Impossible to describe how we felt….words are not enough.. it was amazing!!
Then Bryan left and we stayed with Keith and we invited him for coffee. We stayed with him and talked about everything…he’s an amazing guy :) All these moments meant a great deal to us because we don’t know when we’ll be seeing them again…. As you know Argentina is in South America.. way way South :)

Then Keith left and we left too…all of us had a show to catch! J Spectacular! Me and my friend ,Virginia, were standing and bouncing on our seats as the band played “Heaven”. The show lasted two hours approx. At the beginning of the show Bryan said:” it’s our first time here in Cordoba, so we have lots of music to play”. The man stood by his word…he played lots of music =)

By the end of the show Bryan said: “Let me say a few things…I wish I could speak Spanish, first of all… I wish I could say the things that I FEEL in Spanish. But I will tell you in English that.. we came a long way…all the way from Canada to be with you tonight…and it means a great deal to me that my music brought you here tonight and it really is Special to me. I don’t understand WHY it took me SO LONG to come here. Buenas noches, Argentina. Muchas gracias” Our hearts melted when we heard those words…the show ended but we weren’t in Cordoba anymore…we were in Heaven, upon Cloud number 9 :)
