HOW THE STAGE LOOKED IN POST 'BEST OF ME' PRE 'ROOM SERVICE'
('01 > '04):
During 2001 > 2004 BA and the band were just touring
for the hell of it... the tour wasn't really called anything in particular! At
one bit it was called the 'Here I Am Tour' during 2003... but I think that was
dropped during 2004 because he didn't play the song anymore! Below are 4 shots
of how the stage looked on the UK March tour early on in this period. On the first
one you can see it's a simple design with 3 black and white video screens up above...the
second shot shows caging behind the band to break things up a little, and you
can see on the next 2 shots how lighting can also make the stage look different.
Each set of lighting was for each song to set the mood...i.e. full scale red for
'Thought I'd Died And Gone To Heaven', to shooting stars for 'Heaven'. As the
band moved to a new 5 piece setup at the end of 2002 the design changed a little
but not much... the metal caging disappeared as there were more members to fill
up the stage. The design didn't change again until September '04 with the 'Room
Service Tour'
