ROOM SERVICE TOUR 2004/2005: The most noticable difference
about the stage for the 'Room Service Tour' was the giant red curtain swinging
out from the stage. This has never been explained but one would think it's meant
to project the image of Bryan in a hotel room... ala 'Room Service'. In any case
it doesn't look as dumb as it sounds and when the light show kicks in the curtain
looks quite cool. The curtain has a bar of blue lights underneath it that the
roadies with the spotlights sit on. Since the last tour the lights have also been
changed and are now far brighter than before with some cool effects. For most
venues there is a big projection screen above the stage and 2 at each side. The
picture below is from the Munich Olympiahalle in March '05.

DEF
LEPPARD DOUBLE HEADER ROOM SERVICE TOUR 2005 (+BA SOLO SHOWS EUROPE FALL '05):
In the summer of '05 BA toured the states with Def Leppard. It was a co-headlining
tour which meant each night they changed who headed the show. Both acts used their
own stage setups for their sets... BA's usual 'Room Service Stage' would have
been too big to change inside 15 minutes (with the big curtain and lights etc)...
so the picture below is the result they came up with. 2 'Room Service' guitar
banners with a white sheet in the middle to bounce the light effects off. This
design was also used at BA solo shows in the fall of '05.

ROOM SERVICE / ANTHOLOGY TOUR 2005/2006:
After the release of the Anthology Bryan's first big tour schedule
was in Canada in late '05 and early '06. The set was changed to
incorporate big white sheets and a huge 'kriss-kross' light arrangement
in the centre of the stage. (see 1st picture below)... midway through
the show the white sheets at the side would drop down to reveal
the 'Room Service' guitar banners (see 2nd picture below). This
created a striking set and possibly the most impressive of the 3
'Room Service' designs! Although 'Anthology' had been released...
Bryan was still co-promoting 'Room Service' at the same time on
tour because the countries he was playing were yet to see a 'Room
Service' show.
