THE BEST OF ME TOUR:

Above you will see the one-off Slane Castle stage design near the end of the tour. Big illuminated balloons were used above the dome shaped stage (which was also used for gigs in 2001)...along with streamers filled with air either side of the stage. Pyrotechnics were also used during 'The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You'.

Now below you will see 2 examples of splash projection screens also used.....the first one was used for songs such as 'Cloud #9'which had '#9', 'NINE', and 'IX' flashing on the curtain. It looked really good actually. The green and yellow splash screen below that one is typical of the other displays used....although I believe that one in particular was used for 'C'mon C'mon C'mon' and 'Into The Fire'.

These neon boxes were always in use throughout the tour and flashed in different directions and scrolled etc...they looked very good indeed and were brought into play during the last quarter of the show usually.
