when it's all finished. Enjoy. THIS
PAGE HASN'T BEEN UPDATED SINCE MID 2005 SO THE STATUS OF SOME SONGS MAY HAVE CHANGED.
IT WILL BE UPDATED SHORTLY. RECKLESS
ERA One Night Love Affair - played regularly since 1984
had
a short break off during the late 90's but Bryan still plays it. In late 2003
it became the regular show opener. Now played occasionally. She's
Only Happy When She's Dancin' - a song that's always been in the setlist at most
shows. Sometimes played on the mainstage, but if there is a b-stage it's always
the last song on there. This is the song where the fans get up and sing with the
band and invade the stage! Now played on occasion but not often. Run
To You - always in the setlist, no BA show would be complete without this baby. Heaven
- a Reckless regular in the setlist
many different versions have been done
over the years. Full band, half acoustic, acoustic, solo, dance version
the
list goes on. Always sounds good though. Somebody
- another Reckless regular in the show
we all need Somebody! Summer
Of '69 - always in the setlist for every show BA has done since it's release.
Has been performed differently over the years from half unplugged, to trio to
full band versions
it's always the best song no matter what! Kids
Wanna Rock - this usually gets an outing once in a while and the fans always appreciate
it when it does. It's Only Love - performed at nearly
all the shows since it's release back in the 80's. If you are lucky, Bryan might
even do his Tina Turner impression for you while he sings! Long
Gone - popular in the setlist up until the latter stages of the 'Waking Up The
World Tour'. Performed as a special treat at Cardiff
'04 complete with harmonica for the first time! Ain't
Gonna Cry - performed live only once ever. At the 20th Anniversary Reckless Show
at Cardiff '04. Diana
- made regular appearances in the setlists right up until the day Princess Diana
died through the '18' tour. Bryan says he will never play the song again. Christmas
Time - Performed only a handful of times
including the Vatican for the Pope,
December 2000. Reggae Xmas - never performed live Tears
Are Not Enough - performed only once at 'Live Aid' on July 13th 1985. WAKING
UP THE NEIGHBOURS ERA Is Your Mama Gonna Miss Ya - only performed
a handful of times at places like Madison Square Garden and some live shows during
summer '92. Hey Honey
I'm Packin You In! - a
regular song in the setlist since the release of 'Waking Up The Neighbours' right
up until the Toronto shows of '95. Not performed since though. Can't
Stop This Thing We Started - performed at every BA show since it's release. Bryan
sometimes has trouble stopping it so you may need to help him
I know I did
;) Thought I'd Died And Gone To Heaven - popular song
during the 'Waking' and 'So Far So Good' tours but completely dropped after that.
Made a re-appearance in the setlist in shows during Winter '01, Spring '02 and
Spring '04. Before the song Bryan usually promotes his 'save the whales' campaign. Not
Guilty - never performed live. Vanishing - never performed
live. House Arrest - regular show opener since the
release of 'Waking Up The Neighbours' which was stopped upon the release of '18
Til I Die' although I believe he performed it a couple of times during the '18'
tour. Entered the setlist again in 2001 and still appears in the setlist on occasion
right up to 2004. Do I Have To Say The Words? - mainstay
song during the 'Waking' and 'So Far So Good' tours but dropped when '18' hit
the road to make way for other songs on the setlist. Made a surprise comeback
in the form of a reggae encore song during early 2003! There
Will Never Be Another Tonight - this was performed at more or less every single
5 piece show since it's release in '91 which went right through the 'Waking',
'So Far So Good', '18' and 'Plugged In' tours. Not performed with Bryan on bass
made
a re-appearence at the back end of 2003 on the Canadian tour with the new 5 piece
and was played on and off up until '05. All I Want
Is You - another regular during the early 90's but dropped after the '18' '96
tour... brought back into the setlist at select shows during 2005. Depend
On Me - performed just a handful of times in select cities right at the end of
the '18' European tour '97 as an acoustic solo on the b-stage right at the start
of the show after 'Straight From The Heart'. I was lucky enough to see him do
it in Sheffield that year. Truly amazing live. 2004 saw BA bring the song back
into the setlists ending shows with the acoustic version. (Everything
I Do) I Do It For You - not surprisingly performed at every BA show since it's
release. When the band went to a 3-piece it has took a more acoustic slant to
the previous album version. Summer 2002 saw a more familiar version come back
though with a half unplugged / full band version. The song has gone through many
different arrangements so people don't get fedup up hearing it! If
You Wanna Leave Me, Can I Come Too? - performed a handful of times on the 'Waking'
tour. Touch The Hand - just like 'There Will Never
Be Another Tonight' this was performed at more or less every 5 piece show during
the 90's but hasn't come back since. We are waiting Bryan! Don't
Drop That Bomb On Me - only recently performed live for the first time after events
in the Gulf during spring 2003. This was a show closer in select European cities.
It was performed in both electric and acoustic versions depending on his mood.
Once again I was lucky enough to see him perform another rare 'Waking' song at
the final gig in Rotterdam. SO FAR SO GOOD ERA
Please Forgive Me - performed regularly during the 'So Far So Good' tour but not
so much on tours after that. It even graced the b-stage on some dates in '97.
Ever since the trio formed up it has been performed acoustically which sounds
the best in my opinion. Now performed once in a while if you are lucky. All
For Love - Played at most songs during the 'So Far So Good' and '18' tours, was
usually in the encores. Made a comeback at a show in Portugal 2003 and used during
the encores on the whole on the 'Room Service Tour' up until this day. 18
TIL I DIE ERA The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You - performed
at practically every show since it's release in May '96. Back then on the '18
Til I Die Tour' it used to open the majority of the shows with a few exceptions
and was bloody good at doing so as well
it may not have the lyrical content
for a show opener like 'Here I Am', 'House Arrest' or 'How Do Ya Feel Tonight'
but in my opinion did a far better job. After the 'Plugged In' tour of Canada
in early '98 the song was put further down in the setlist before the encores when
they began touring again with the 3 piece early '99. The song has been re-arranged
a few times on each tour but has always been amazing live. Played at every show. Do
To You - an old regular on the '18 Til I Die Tour' that was always performed after
'The Only Thing' with BA on harmonica. Stopped being a regular song after the
'Plugged In' tour. It did however make a few appearances in the setlist in shows
during 2001 with the 3 piece minus of course the harmonica. Let's
Make A Night To Remember - a beautiful live song first added to the setlist on
the later dates of the summer '96 '18 Til I Die Tour'. It was usually performed
in the encores but did make appearances very early on in the setlist as well.
The song was cut from the setlist totally when the 3 piece started touring but
lyrics from the song were used for the 'Blues Jam' from 1999 to 2001. 2003 saw
the song become a regular part of the setlist with the re-introduction of the
5-piece band. 18 Til I Die - this has been in every
setlist BA has done since it's release in '96 bar a couple of charity shows etc.
Always played early on and always played loud! Star
- only played during select shows as BA mixed up the setlist on the '18 Til I
Die Tour' in the first half of '97. (I Wanna Be) Your
Underwear - was played at every '18 Til I Die' show and was most commonly used
as a b-stage song, although when the b-stage sometimes wasn't used mid-show
it
was played on the mainstage. Giant inflatable underwear was used everytime this
song was performed and it was really funny! Hasn't been played since
although
everybody wishes it would be! We're Gonna Win - not
a regular song during the '18' tour but chances are if you went to a show you
would have seen it played. Has been played on the mainstage but more often than
not always a b-stage song. BA did a 3 piece version at the 'World Sports Awards'
in London in 2000 with other celebrity's joining in
that was the last time. I
Think About You - A regular song on the '18' tour of '97 performed after the first
5 or 6 songs usually. Surprisingly introduced back into the set as a solo acoustic
version during June '06... by July '06 it was back to being played full band again.
Now played on and off. I'll Always Be Right There
- never played on the '18' '96 tour but the '97 tour saw this song end almost
every show with BA on vocals and Keith on Spanish guitar. A very good show closer. It
Ain't A Party
If Ya Can't Come 'Round - included in the majority of setlists
for the '18' tour, it was used as either a b-stage number or an encore song. Black
Pearl - not played very often at all really. If you were lucky you will have heard
it early '97 at select venues mostly although it was played during the '99 fall
European tour once or twice in Germany. Bryan also played it early 2004 at the
Mississippi shows due to the lyrical reference the song has with Mississippi.
Your Still Beautiful To Me - this was the last song
to be performed from the original '18 Til I Die' album making it the first ever
BA album to have all songs off it performed live. As new dates were announced
at the end of the '97 tour this was introduced to setlists. It has also made appearances
in 2000 with the trio as BA performed it acoustically in places like Canada and
Japan. Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman? - first
played in '95 in Canada as new material was starting to be introduced into BA's
shows before the new album. It became regular in the '18' tour as a full band
effort but when the 3 piece started up was performed acoustically. It is always
touch and go nowadays if this will be in the setlist or not... usually performed
in Spain. Rock Steady - first performed in '95 with
Bonnie Raitt as a duet. Not performed regularly until 4 years later when the trio
were starting up. You would be very lucky to hear this live, not played in a few
years. Lowlife - The flip side to 'Have You Ever Really
Loved A Woman?' was performed at some '95 shows after it's release but was only
performed again early on in '97 in select cities in Australia and Japan. Made
a surprise comeback in the UK & Europe during July '06. Hey
Elvis - this became a strong song in the setlist throughout the later stages of
the '18' '97 tour. Lance (BA's guitar technician
went into the crowd during
each gig and played the part of Elvis
very funny!). Not performed since until
a one off show in Maidstone May '04. I Want It All
- never performed live Hey Little Girl - never performed
live I Finally Found Someone - never performed live UNPLUGGED
ERA Back To You - performed ever since it's release.
Back on the 'Plugged In' tour it was performed half full band half acoustic like
it is now. But from '99 right up to 2002 with Bryan on bass it was done full band
and sounded awesome. Now back with a 5 piece band its performed more close to
the original. When You Love Someone - performed during
the 'Plugged In' tour '98 but only once since then....the surprise Maidstone gig
in May '04. A Little Love - performed during the 'Plugged
In' tour of Canada in '98 but not since. ON A DAY
LIKE TODAY ERA How Do Ya Feel Tonight - opened the
shows during the latter stages of the summer '99 tour right through to shows in
early 2000. By late '99 though onwards only the verse first and one chorus was
performed before launching into 'Back To You'. A solid show opener. C'mon
C'mon C'mon - performed during most shows in '99. Getaway
- performed throughout '99 and 2000 but not since. On
A Day Like Today - performed during the first half of '99 but wasn't regular in
the setlist. Made a surpise appearance in Tokyo in 2005 as a fan request. Fearless
- never performed live I'm A Liar - performed only
once at the Hard Rock Hotel show in Las Vegas in February '99. Cloud
#9 - performed at every show since early '99. The original album version has never
been performed, instead Bryan does his own version of the dance remix by Chicane
that was released as the single. This song is performed in the encores. When
You're Gone - performed at nearly every show since BA went back on the road early
'99. He always gets a female fan to sing the song with him.
Inside Out - only ever sang a few lyrics of the
song at a rainy gig in Germany back in '99. Despite it being a European
single it took him 8 years to finally sing it live in full!...a
one-off at the Karlstad gig in Sweden in 2006.
If
I Had You - never performed live Before The Night
Is Over - a regular song on the setlist in '99 and 2000. I
Don't Wanna Live Forever - in the show at most '99 gigs but started making rarer
appearances in 2000 and it hasn't been played since. Where
Angels Fear To Tread - never performed live Lie To
Me - never performed live She Believes In Me - never
performed live Bin There Done That - never performed
live I Love Ya Too Much - never performed live Hey
Baby - never performed live What Does It Do To Your
Heart - never performed live Let's Talk About Love
- never performed live THE BEST OF ME ERA
The Best Of Me - performed at more or less every show since it's release, this
song is always done in the encores. Bryan now likes to come down into the audience
and mingle with the fans when he sings it! This is now played on and off depending
on his mood. Don't Give Up - Performed only a handful
of times live in places like Slane Castle, the Far East and Sheffield Arena. The
Way You Make Me Feel - this song written by Bryan for Ronan Keating was used as
the show closer during shows in 2001 and 2002. Made a rare appearance at London
and Glasgow in '05 plus Canada in early '06. SPIRIT
ERA Here I Am - performed at every show since it's
release in summer '02. Used as the show opener to start with but at more recent
shows knocked back to 3rd spot and has even appeared in the encores! Not performed
since '03. I Will Always Return - only performed live
once to film buffs at a 'Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron' presentation in Las
Vegas. Never performed at a BA show. You Can't Take
Me - only performed live once to film buffs at a 'Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron'
presentation in Las Vegas. Never performed at a BA show. Get
Off My Back - performed at the Spirit presentation in Las Vegas and also at a
couple of German BA shows in summer '02. This is the only other song apart from
'Here I Am' to make it to a proper show off this album
in English! Brothers
Under The Sun - was performed at French speaking Canadian cities late 2002
..in
French! The song has yet to be done live in English! Don't
Let Go - performed only once...at the Vancouver benefit show in October '02 with
Sarah McLachlan. Sound The Bugle - never performed
