ASHTON GATE STADIUM, BRISTOL

This page maybe of use to some people going to the Bristol gig who want to make a bit more out of the show than just see the band play. For starters when going to this venue it looks wise to start queuing between the corner of the 'Atyeo Stand' and the 'Dolman Stand' as this is the entrance nearest to the front of the stage (see map below), obviosly this does not apply to people in reserved seating areas. Also anybody wanting to possibly catch a glimpse of the band after the show would be wise to wait around the back of the 'Atyeo Stand' after the concert as this is where I'm told the entrance is and is at the back of the staging area.

Directions:
Leave the M5 motorway at junction 18, travel along Portway (A4) following the signs for Bristol Airport/Taunton (A38). Over the swing bridge (Brunel Way), branching left into Witherstoke Road, and left again at Cruickshanks Mercedes Garage for Ashton Gate Stadium.

One interesting point about this concert is that the tickets DO NOT state that you cannot bring any form of recording equipment into the stadium...therefore feel free to bring anything you want...I might try a digital camcorder :)
